Solid Love
The protagonists of this photos are my parents. Here I kind of try to change their at times complicated history, taking photos of them and putting them in new situations that show how complicated love can be, even for people who have spent many years together, and how strong is this desire to keep the loved one by their side despite all difficulties. A a sort of solid love, in this world of liquid relationships. With these images I also try to reveal how strange, distant and sometimes painful relationships can become, when you try to fulfill this ideal of finding the right person - and staying by them. How frustrating it can be when one realizes how complicated it is to really understand the other one, and how lonely one can feel sometimes in this process.
